What are my options?

There are several good cloud document apps out there and you probably already subscribe to one or two.

There are 2 apps that I use frequently that have an easy to use interface and was easy enough to set up and connect to my home computer (where I ultimately store my documents & photos). Microsoft's One Drive and Dropbox are both great options. Let's quickly dive into the set up of each of these.

Microsoft's One Drive

As of writing this article, Microsoft offers a free account with 5GB of OneDrive Storage. Get the Details This gives you access to their OneDrive app which you can link to your laptop or desktop computer to help organize your files.

Step 1: Create a Free account with Microsoft

Step 2: OneDrive comes preinstalled with Windows 10 or go to their download webpage Sign into OneDrive and a shortcut will be created in your Windows Explorer (if one isn't already there)

Step 3: Download the OneDrive app on your smart phone and follow the setup/sign in steps

After signing in with your Microsoft credentials, Microsoft will encourage you to 'upgrade'your account. If you are going to use this just for the purposes of digitizing your receipts and easily getting them to your laptop/desktop there is no need to 'upgrade' You can simply click on the 'back arrow' in the upper left of your screen.

Microsoft will try one more time to get you to pay for their services, click "STAY BASIC" to remain on the FREE Plan.

Are you sure?

Although you probably have your pictures in several different clouds at this point (for example: Google photos)Turning on Camera Upload would be an easy way for your pictures to automatically show up on your computer/laptop.
